講義内容
In this course we will study journalism and documentary films concerning the world order created at the end of WWII. Many contemporary journalists and historians feel that this era is now ending, and so their work consists of retrospective analyses of the period and theories of what new order or disorder could emerge as a result. Concerns about the future include the ecological crisis, energy resources, indigenous rights, economic reform, and the shifting balance of power between Russia, China and the USA.
The teacher will provide study materials and lead discussions, but students will be asked to bring their own knowledge and life experiences as contributions to the class.
