This is an announcement for an event held by the Research Center for Textual Scholarship titled “Fake Spectrum: Various Aspects of “Lies” in Literature” to celebrate its publication. The first half of the event will be a joint review session featuring guests: Associate Professor Motoaki Hara (School of Cultural and Social Studies, Tokai University), Professor Hirotsugu Yamajo (Graduate School of Humanities, Osaka University), and Professor Ko Murase (Faculty of Arts and Literature, Seijo University). The second half of the event will be a roundtable discussion with Professor Takami Matsuda (Faculty of Letters, Keio University), Professor Takahiro Sasaki (Institute of Oriental Classics, Keio University), and the Director of our research center, Professor Kiyoko Myojo (Faculty of Arts and Literature, Seijo University). The moderator will be Professor Noburu Notomi (Graduate School of Humanities and Sociology, The University of Tokyo).
